The game Mother Nature did not want played. After 5 reschedules due to rain the players were finally able to take the field and play. With the UnReal offense desperate to score the winning goal, The Wave "D" bent but did not break. The Wave held the powerful UnReal to a 1-1 draw.

Rachel Chaput’s shot was barely prevented from scoring by the UnReal Keeper. The ball came off of Bill Patton with enough momentum to roll and come to a rest 1 foot beyond the goal line.
