The Wave defeated last season’s division champions Killer Ducks Wiser 1-0 in the Spring 2021 season opener. Jose Cabrera Scored in the first half on an assist by David Davila. Jim Kane preserved the win and the shutout with multiple saves but 1 in particular late in the 2nd half where he parried away what looked to be a sure goal.

Due to the many players opting out because of the COVID-19 pandemic, players from The Wave were joined by a contingent of over-40 players from the ABCDE FC over-30 team. A few more players were picked up to fill out the roster. All of these players pulled together and played like a well oiled machine. Probably as a present to May and Cynthia for their birthday.

It was very nice to see the players returning from injury looking very good out on the field.

Everybody played very well.
